CASTING DIRECTOR – ADULTS
Serena Hill is currently the Casting Director at Sydney Theatre Company. She began her career as a Casting Director at the Royal Court Theatre, London in 1985. She became Head of Casting at the National Theatre, London in 1987 and remained at the National until she took up the position of Casting Director at Sydney Theatre Company in 2003.
As a freelance casting director in the UK, Serena worked on BBC Television Films including Heading Home, written and directed by David Hare and Tumbledown by Charles Wood, directed by Sir Richard Eyre.
As a freelance casting director in Australia she has worked on the Australian productions of War Horse for the National Theatre/Global Creatures (2013) and Les Misérables for Cameron Mackintosh/Michael Cassel Group (2014).
